Sales Do Not Mean Someone is Profitable
Way too often we hear someone is doing some amazing sales and we think, dang they are rocking it. But are they? At the end of the day, it is about the profits and not the sales. Someone doing $200,000 in sales can actually be making more money than someone doing $500,000 in sales.
Make sure you are focused on what the profits of a business are and not just focusing on the sales of a business. You might just chase the wrong business model. Especially once you back out what the owner is being paid as an employee in the business vs the owner.
